Project Overview
Changheng Smart established an automated order-sorting solution for Starbucks' RDC (Regional Distribution Center) in a Chinese city.
This automated warehouse picking systems is designed to:
✅ Handle high-frequency ordering demands from 90 stores
✅ Ensure sorting accuracy while improving speed to maintain ingredient freshness
System Architecture
- 3 production lines with roller conveyors
- 1 production line with 8 electronic label shelves
- Rear roller conveyor for automated box transfer
- Belt conveyor on the right side
Operational Process
Employees perform piece-picking guided by light indicators on electronic label shelves. Orders are decomposed by the computer system and transmitted to corresponding storage locations.
Three production lines connect to the rear roller conveyor via 90° tilt-tray sorters, with sensors installed every 500mm for automated box alignment.
Project Advantages
